Mike’s love for construction began at Everett High School in Snohomish County, Washington where his carpentry class built a home from the ground up for the local Rotary Club.
Knowing that construction was a perfect fit for him, he continued his passion during a short stay in California, where he helped build the Betty Ford clinic and Lindal Cedar homes.
Relocating back to his home town Everett, Washington to start a family, Mike pursued his calling as a construction contractor and incorporated Carter Construction in 1988.
Mike prides himself on successfully developing long term relationships with his clients, tradespeople and the local business community.
